We are from Nanchang, the birthplace of the first CJ750. In 1940, the Soviet Union acquired the design and production technology for the BMW R71 motorcycle and sidecar. In 1941, the first batch of M-72 motorcycles were produced by the Moscow Motorcycle Factory (MMZ) for the Soviet Red Army. The design drawings of the M-72 were later transferred to the People’s Republic of China. In 1957, Nanchang Hongdu Machinery Plant(the predecessor of Hongdu Aviation Industry Group) began producing the CJ750-M1.In the 1980s and 1990s, Hongdu Aviation Industry Group improved the M1 and introduced more modern versions, M1M and M1S. The M1M is equipped with a suitable distributor, a 12V electrical system, and an electric starter, while the M1S is an overhead valve (OHV) engine. Both of the latter two models are equipped with a reverse gearbox.Due to its blood relationship with Soviet motorcycles, many accessories of CHANGJIANG can also be used on the M-72，K-750.
